Beautiful powder compact made by Rex 5th Avenue. Large compact in a square shape. Compact is a gold tone metal, the top is painted in red with white palm trees, the gold metal of the compact peeks through to make the sun and the sun's light on the water. This is topped with a piece of lucite which adds depth. Very pretty!
Hinge and spring closure work appropriately. No chips or cracks in the lucite and no paint loss. Very light scratching to metal as expected with age.
Complete with logo marked powder puff and original powder screen. No sliver loss to mirror.
This compact could easily be used as a cigarette case because of its size. It could also hold cash or cards and would be perfect used as a mirror in your handbag.
